Molly and Sang's wedding took place on a brisk November Friday evening at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center. Molly loved the history of the venue and the Tudor Revival style home (of the Candler family whose oldest son founded The Coca-Cola Company and whose ancestry served during the Irish Rebellion of the mid-17th century).
The bride knew she wanted a festive Fall wedding with a pop of red! We later decided to add a touch of purple (with deep purple anemones and ruffled sweet peas) and orange (with Campanella garden roses) too. These bold colors were subdued by dark burgundy florals (from peonies and scabiosas) along with textural greenery and berries including Italian ruscus, seeded eucalyptus, scabiosa pods, privet berry, and white snowberries.
The color palette really highlighted the personality of the couple. Outgoing, spontaneous, and lovable! While Sang and Molly are opposites when it comes to their personalities, they are the perfect couple to show that opposites attract. The decor celebrated their love for traveling and memorable trips all over the world. Favors included bronze airplane bottle openers in map covered ornamental boxes with table assignments based on various cities and countries they had visited during their dating years. Hong Kong, Ireland, London, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Seattle to name a few. What a creative way to showcase their unique love story!
